WWE Hall of Famer makes bizarre admission of wanting to KISS Stephanie McMahon on Raw

Ric Flair remains a divisive personality, both in wrestling and beyond. His achievements in the industry are unquestionable, but his bold statements often land him in hot water. Recently, he sparked fresh debate with a casual comment about Stephanie McMahon. He claimed he once wanted to kiss her during a live episode of Monday Night Raw.

On X, Flair shared a clip from a 2016 Raw segment featuring himself, Stephanie, Shane McMahon, and Charlotte Flair. In the clip, Stephanie slaps him on live TV. Looking back, Flair joked that he’s taken many slaps in his life. But he added that he wished he had kissed her first.

The remark drew backlash, given Flair’s iconic status in wrestling. Fans quickly criticized him in the comments. Some speculate this was a publicity move, especially with John Cena close to breaking Flair’s 16-world-title record.

Cena recently took a sharp jab at Flair on Raw. In response, Flair insisted his legacy in wrestling is untouchable. He said it doesn’t matter who breaks his record—he will always be remembered as the legendary Nature Boy.

Charlotte Flair called out John Cena for wanting to “erase” Ric Flair

Last week on Raw, John Cena targeted Ric Flair. He claimed he would win his 17th World Championship at WrestleMania and end The Nature Boy’s legacy. In reply, Ric’s daughter, Charlotte Flair, didn’t hold back. She had a strong response for Cena.

Speaking to The Independent, Charlotte made her stance clear. She said history can’t be rewritten. Her father’s legacy is unshakable, and if Cena tries to erase Ric, he’d have to erase her too, which won’t happen. She insisted the Flair name will forever be part of wrestling.

The former Women’s Champion added that regardless of Cena’s success, she would be the first 17-time Women’s World Champion in WWE. She made it clear that her father’s achievements are unmatched. His legacy will endure as long as wrestling exists.

You can’t erase history. History is facts. And if you erase my dad, you erase me. It’s not possible to erase the last name Flair.

Charlotte’s message was firm. She won’t let anyone diminish her family’s impact on the sport. Whether Cena breaks the record or not, the Flair name will always stand strong in wrestling history.
