The Undertaker is one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time. He holds numerous historic records over his 30-year career. The Phenom recently made history by winning another WWE Championship, even after being retired for 5 years. Taker has been in the spotlight for the last few months, becoming a mentor on WWE’s new show, Legends & Future Greats, where he trained rookie wrestlers to help them unlock their true potential.
He, along with Bubba Ray Dudley, Booker T, and Mickie James, was assigned to mentor the rookies. The finale took place tonight, and the results are finally out. Booker T’s Jasper Troy, The Undertaker’s Shiloh Hill and Tyra Mae Steele, and Bubba’s Xena Sterling were the final four competitors. No wrestler from James’ team could qualify for the final.
Since Taker had two rookies in the finals, he was awarded the first-ever WWE LFG Championship. Shawn Michaels shared some words of wisdom with the four finalists and presented the title to his greatest rival. In the end, Jasper and Mae Steele won the show, and they are now officially signed to NXT. However, in reality, all the wrestlers who participated are already signed to the developmental show.
Speaking about the show’s reception, it instantly connected with the fans. The WWE Universe loved seeing their favorite Phenom in action, as his advice was game-changing not just for the wrestlers but also for them. As the show came to an end, the fans were eagerly waiting for the next season to begin so they could once again witness the legends at work.
The Undertaker revealed he regrets having a match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33
The Undertaker has been a part of many iconic WrestleMania matches throughout his career. However, his main event match against Roman Reigns was one of the most disappointing matches he had at the Show of Shows. Many fans began disliking The Big Dog after he won the match, claiming he wasn’t deserving. Now, the Phenom himself has shared his thoughts on that match.
While speaking on his show, The Six Feet Under podcast, Taker admitted that the match against Reigns still bothered him. The Deadman felt like he couldn’t give more to the former WWE Champion. He admitted that, at that point, his body was shutting down and he shouldn’t have been in the match.
“That still bothers me. Not that I lost, but I was just…I stayed a little long. I stayed a little long. I didn’t have enough for him that I would have liked to have given him. At that point, my body was shutting down. Yeah, I shouldn’t have been in that match, but, anyway.”

The match lasted 23 minutes, and the Hall of Famer looked visibly uncomfortable throughout. He was certainly not in his prime, and Reigns dominated the entire bout with relentless strikes. Ultimately, the OTC handed Taker his second loss at WrestleMania, after Brock Lesnar three years earlier, denting his near-perfect legacy at the Show of Shows.
