The latest edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event brought a lot of surprises. One of the biggest was Bronson Reed’s return after nearly six months. In the opening match of SNME, Rollins and Breakker took on Sami Zayn and CM Punk in a tag team match. At one moment, it looked like the Canadian wrestler had the match in his hands. While the referee was distracted by the Hall of Famer, Reed came out of nowhere and crashed Punk into the barricade. That gave the former NXT Champion enough time to recover and hit a Spear to win the match for his team. After the match, Breakker and Reed had a brief standoff. However, it was revealed that Rollins had just recruited him as the newest member of their faction.
The partnership between The Architect and Reed will be interesting, as they had a very intense rivalry six months ago. Reed once sent Rollins to the hospital by hitting not just one or two, but half a dozen Tsunamis. They even battled at the Crown Jewel PLE last November, with The Visionary finally prevailing over the Aussie. His last match was the WarGames match at the Survivor Series PLE against The Original Bloodline and Punk in a losing effort.
