Watch: What Seth Rollins did following sneak attack from CM Punk after Raw went off-air

Seth Rollins might have qualified for the MITB ladder match, but his night ended on a sour note. After destroying his long-time rival CM Punk last week, the latter came back for revenge. The Best in the World fooled both Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed to get to Rollins and floored him with his finishing move, the GTS.

A fan took to social media and shared a clip of what transpired after the show went off-air. In the clip, Punk was seen celebrating with the fans after getting payback on his WrestleMania 41 opponent. On the other side, The Visionary looked completely dejected and was seen slowly walking away with his entourage.

He was in the main event, fighting against Finn Balor and Sami Zayn in a Triple Threat match. The Prince attempted to take the upper hand while Rollins and Zayn were clearly at odds. Finally, Dominik Mysterio entered the ring and pushed a chair in. The Visionary pinned Balor to qualify when the latter tried to grab it, but instead slammed his head into it.

While Punk and Rollins continue their rivalry, one superstar has remained absent since WrestleMania week. The name in question is Roman Reigns, who last appeared on Raw after the Show of Shows. He was destroyed by his former Shield ally and Bron Breakker. Many fans believe that the OTC will return at the Money in the Bank PLE and cost him.

Paul Heyman explained Bronson Reed’s alliance with Seth Rollins on Raw

This week’s Raw from Tampa kicked off with Rollins and company heading to the ring. The onus was on Heyman to set the premise for his client’s vision heading into the future. Heyman first lauded Breakker and delivered a spoiler, stating that he would main event several WrestleManias a few years from now.

The WWE Hall of Famer soon turned his attention to Reed and explained his addition to the Rollins-led group. The Wiseman noted that WWE had never presented him with actual competition, even though he was more than ready to take the gauntlet to the top-tier names on the roster. Heyman argued that WWE management was afraid of the fact that The Auszilla was too reckless.

Heyman went on to assert that it was then that Reed took the initiative to break out on his own and ultimately went after Rollins last year. The Bloodline’s former manager quipped that Reed did more damage to Rollins in one night than Roman Reigns could in ten years and Punk in his entire career.
