The surprise showdown pitted the brothers Jimmy and Jey Uso against the Judgment Day members Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh. Funny thing was that Jimmy and Jey danced at the entrance not once, not twice, but five times. Unfortunately for them, JD and Dirty Dom had had enough and attacked them. The finish came when Jey blocked Dom Dom’s 6‑1‑9 finisher attempt and struck back with a powerful spear. Jimmy then joined in with a superkick party—multiple superkicks on McDonagh—clearing the ring. Finally, they executed their classic 1‑D to put McDonagh away. The referee counted three, and The Usos celebrated an emphatic, built-to-perfection win.
This marked their first match together since March 24, 2025 on Raw, where they teamed to beat A‑Town Down Under, not in a dark match. With the win, The Usos proved they still operate as a polished, elite duo. Whether WWE continues this reunion on TV remains unclear, but fans were reminded how electric these two are together. Jey Uso Will Partner Up With Cousin Roman Reigns Against Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker at SummerSlam
The upcoming tag team match featuring Roman Reigns will mark his first time teaming up with a member of his iconic Anoa’i family since last year’s Survivor Series. Back then, Reigns led the OG Bloodline, along with Sami Zayn and CM Punk, to defeat Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Bronson Reed, and Jacob Fatu inside WarGames.
It was a one-off reunion for Reigns and his cousins. But this Saturday at SummerSlam, The Head of the Table will team up with his former Right Hand Man to try to break the synergy of Breakker and The Auszilla. The OTC1’s return, just in time for the inaugural two-night SummerSlam PLE, has definitely increased fan interest in the event.
We still need to see whether Reigns and Jey will main event Night 1 of the show over Gunther vs. CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship. The internet remains divided over who should close the night. However, most fans lean toward the world title match as the ideal main event for Saturday.
