WATCH: The Undertaker shows up on NXT and sends a warning to current WWE Champion

Since retiring in 2020, The Undertaker has taken on a respected veteran role in WWE. His occasional appearances still excite fans, and his legendary status adds credibility to any superstar he works with. His presence alone elevates those around him, making every interaction meaningful.

One of The Undertaker’s greatest strengths is his ability to captivate audiences with his promos. His words carry weight, and fans hang on to every sentence. Recently, he surprised the NXT audience by delivering a stern message to one of the brand’s top stars, NXT Champion Oba Femi.

In a backstage segment, The Undertaker issued a cryptic warning to Femi. He acknowledged Femi’s dominance but hinted at looming challengers, saying, *“This is your yard for now.”* He then teased that members of LFG would soon be coming for the title. This instantly added intrigue to Femi’s reign.

“This is your yard for now. Just so you know, I’ve got some guys from LFG, and they’re going to be coming for you really soon.”

At 27, Femi doesn’t need an immediate main roster call-up, but he has outgrown NXT’s “developmental” label. The current title scene has grown predictable, with only Jevon Evans posing a real threat. Introducing LFG talent like Anthony Luke could refresh the division. The Undertaker’s involvement brings prestige to a storyline that needed a spark.

The Undertaker claims retirement life has been a tough process

In the months before Survivor Series 2020, The Undertaker announced his retirement from in-ring competition during a special event honoring his legendary career. Since stepping away, he has stayed out of active competition but has taken on a coaching role for WWE’s LFG program this year.

During a recent interview with The Daily Mail, The Undertaker opened up about his retirement, admitting it was a difficult adjustment. He explained that even though he was only wrestling occasionally near the end of his career, it never truly felt like a final goodbye. Eventually, he realized he had nothing left to give physically and knew it was time to walk away—even if it wasn’t what he wanted.

The Undertaker admitted that retirement left a void in his life, which he slowly filled with new projects. He began hosting his One Deadman Show, making appearances at fan events, launching a podcast, and exploring other ventures. While he now enjoys more time with his family, he confessed that part of him will always miss performing, especially when he’s in arenas, feeling the urge to prepare for big matches again.

Despite these lingering feelings, The Undertaker believes he has transitioned well into retirement. He expressed interest in taking on more behind-the-scenes roles, possibly in production. While his in-ring days are over, he remains connected to wrestling in different ways, embracing the next chapter of his career.
