The rivalry between Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu suddenly took a wild turn. The show began with Sikoa, along with JC Mateo, Talla Tonga, and Tonga Loa—speaking with some police officers about the accident. It was intense, as Loa was seen bleeding around his eye. The United States Champion blamed his archrival for the accident, knowing his troubled past.
Later on the show, Adam Pearce, who replaced SmackDown GM Nick Aldis for the night, met Fatu. The Samoan Werewolf hesitated at first but later cooperated with the officers during questioning. At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Big Jim got the first singles title opportunity of his career against his brother. Unfortunately, due to outside interference from Solo’s Family Tree, he retained the title with a vicious Samoan Spike. It will be interesting to see whether the former NXT North American Champion manages to retain his title inside a steel cage with Fatu.
