Roman Reigns Breaks Silence After His Emphatic Return on Raw

The July 14th segment of Monday Night Raw progressed key storylines for SummerSlam. CM Punk won the main event Gauntlet Match to earn a World Heavyweight Championship opportunity against Gunther at the year’s second-biggest PLE. The Chicagoan secured the win by pinning Bron Breakker after Jey Uso had temporarily neutralized Bronson Reed’s threat.

However, Breakker and Reed both began attacking the good guys. As The Auszilla climbed the top turnbuckle, Roman Reigns’ music hit, and he attacked both of them, saving his brother and Punk. This marked his first appearance since being brutally speared by Breakker on the Raw after WrestleMania 41. After the show ended, the Original Tribal Chief sent a message on social media.

Reigns took to X and stated there were many people he needed payback from. Talking about the show, the former World Champion then reached out to his cousin and shook hands with Uso. In the meantime, the Best in the World was also hoping for a similar gesture from Reigns, but to no avail. Punk, Reigns, and Uso stood tall with The Tribal Chief, talking trash to Breakker, Reed, and Paul Heyman, who were in retreat.

“More receipts to come! Good to be back.”

At one point, there were rumors of Reigns returning to cost Seth Rollins the Money in the Bank contract in early June. That didn’t happen, and his former Shield brother went on to climb the ladder and unhook the dangling briefcase. Speaking of Rollins, his injury woes are expected to sideline him for the foreseeable future. There is no concrete update on the severity of his knee issue yet.

WWE Reveals a New Tribal Chief Championship Upon Roman Reigns’ Return on Raw

It has finally been revealed what WWE was planning for Roman Reigns when he was feuding with Solo Sikoa over the Ula Fala. Back in December, WrestleVotes reported that the company had discussed introducing a Tribal Chief Championship, as Reigns and Sikoa were also feuding over the Tribal Chief moniker.

But the discussions fell through, and it never saw the light of day. The same outlet has now posted a picture of what the Tribal Chief title was going to look like, as seen below. It features Reigns’ caricature in the center with “Undisputed Tribal Chief” written just beneath his face.

For the unversed, the Head of the Table went on to beat Sikoa on Raw’s Netflix debut and reclaimed the Ula Fala. It was bestowed upon him by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the elder member of the Anoa’i family. Fans in attendance were hoping for the Final Boss to betray Reigns, but it wasn’t to be.
