Rising Popular Star Gets First PLE Match at Night of Champions After 443 Days

Karrion Kross is one name that is getting significant attention from WWE fans nowadays. Thanks to constant fan support, the Harbinger of Doom has an opportunity to showcase his talent on a PLE after more than a year. He will face Sami Zayn in a grudge match at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia. The leader of the Final Testament’s last PLE match was at WrestleMania XL in a 6-man Street Fight against Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits.

Overwhelmed by the support, the former NXT Champion sent them a message on social media. Kross took to X and shared an emotional message with the WWE Universe. He gave credit to all fans who showed support online and those who attended his matches at shows. The 39-year-old superstar told them to keep raising their voices for what they wanted to see and assured them that the company always listens to them for the show’s betterment.

Lastly, the Herald of Doomsday promised he wouldn’t let the fans down. Talking about his story, Kross has been trying to get into Zayn’s mind. He tried to explain to Zayn that he needed to change his personality if he wanted to win something big in the future. However, the Honorary Uce ignored all of his advice. Unfortunately, the latest episode of Monday Night Raw was the breaking point for all of Kross’ shenanigans.

“All of you online & especially live at the shows made this happen. Stay loud for what you like and what you want to see. Keep it •positive• and they will always listen. In closing, I told you I’m very big on loyalty. When you show up for me, I’ll show out for you.”

Karrion Kross on X

After suffering a heartbreaking loss to Randy Orton last week, Zayn gave an interview backstage to talk about his future. However, Kross interrupted his interview and rubbed salt in his wounds by talking about how he lost the match against The Viper. Zayn had enough of his manipulation, punched him in the face, and challenged him to a match at Night of Champions.

Karrion Kross Is Working in the Final Year of His WWE Contract

Karrion Kross made his WWE return in August 2022, and at the time, reports said he and his wife Scarlett had signed a three-year deal with the company. However, over the past few years, the Harbinger of Doom hasn’t been used to his full potential on WWE TV. Now, with that contract set to expire later this year, his future with the company could be up in the air.

According to Fightful Select, Kross’ contract is set to expire this August. With just a month left, WWE has yet to reach out with a new deal. This could be a sign that the company might be planning to release him upon his contract’s expiry.

If that happens, it’ll be a major blow for Kross’ fans around the world. Many are already calling out Triple H for turning a blind eye to the Harbinger of Doom. Given how passionate his fan base is, the situation could stir up quite a bit of backlash, especially after WWE’s controversial releases of stars like Dakota Kai, Braun Strowman, and Cora Jade earlier this year.
