Drew McIntyre Blasts Travis Scott for Ruining John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41

As endearing as last year’s WrestleMania main event between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns was, the match that fans witnessed a few months ago in Las Vegas felt like a farce to the vast majority. In both cases, the common denominator was Rhodes, who battled John Cena with the Undisputed WWE Title on the line. Drew McIntyre has now pointed out the worst part of it.

Speaking on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast, the Scot stated that Travis Scott’s run-in during the final moments of Rhodes vs. Cena ruined the entire main event. The Chosen One went on to slam Scott, calling him “a piece of sh*t.” McIntyre’s comments are making the rounds on social media, with the entire wrestling community supporting him for speaking his mind without holding back.

The only silver lining from the showdown, as mentioned above, was Cena winning his seventeenth world title by defeating The American Nightmare. However, the fact that he needed assistance from Scott to put away Rhodes is something fans may never forget. Additionally, The Rock’s no-show did more harm than good for WWE.

“That six-minute run-in at WrestleMania screwed up our damn main event. Travis Scott is a piece of sh*t.”

Several conspiracy theories began circulating online to explain the absence ofThe Final Boss from The Show of Shows. Some wrestling pundits concluded that a fallout between Triple H and The Rock likely occurred due to creative disagreements. The Great One, however, explained on Pat McAfee’s show that he chose to stay out of the ending to keep the spotlight on Cena.

Travis Scott Might Not Play a Factor in John Cena’s Remaining Dates Anymore

Earlier this year, WWE reportedly had major plans for Travis Scott, including his in-ring debut. However, he hasn’t appeared on any shows since WrestleMania 41. At one point, reports claimed he was slated to be involved in something with John Cena at Money in the Bank, but those plans also fell through. So, it appears that he won’t be back any time soon.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the singer-songwriter never officially committed to working with WWE, and his angles were reportedly based on handshake agreements. People within the company allegedly adjusted to Scott’s schedule until it became too overwhelming for everyone to manage.

WrestleVotes also noted that the Houston-born rapper isn’t said to be a quick learner of the business. All these reasons make it seem like Scott is done for when it comes to having his future mapped out with WWE. If that stays that way, the core wrestling audience couldn’t be more elated.
