Becky Lynch Brutally Mocks John Cena and Nikki Bella’s Relationship on Raw

Women’s wrestling icon Nikki Bella has had a tumultuous track record of real-life relationships. Her previous relationship with Artem Chigvintsev ended tragically last year. Her relationship with John Cena was mentioned on this week’s Raw. The Fearless One confronted Becky Lynch, and what started as an amicable exchange quickly escalated.

After Bella called Lynch’s husband, Seth Rollins, a liar, the reigning Women’s Intercontinental Champion took offense. She fired back by claiming that she and Rollins are the greatest wrestling couple in history—a title that, a few years ago, could have belonged to Bella and the man she couldn’t see anymore. As soon as Lynch said that, the crowd understood exactly what she meant.

The former Total Divas star got flustered for a moment as fans in attendance erupted with “holy sh*t” chants after the jab. Shortly after, the two women argued about their respective eras of wrestling. The Man told Nikki Bella not to lecture her on handling the current state of the women’s division. They eventually realized they had never faced each other one-on-one, which led The Beautiful Bomber to challenge the Irishwoman to an Intercontinental Title match.

Becky tried to explain why they never had a singles match before she sucker-punched the Barmageddon host. The Man quickly rolled out of the ring as an incensed Bella stared at Big Time Becks. They now appear to be on a collision course and will likely wrestle at the upcoming Clash in Paris PLE on August 31st, if not sooner.

John Cena and Brock Lesnar Might Battle It out Later This Month

Since WWE has advertised John Cena for three consecutive episodes of SmackDown starting this Friday, he will most likely have a match at Clash in Paris. He will surely demand answers from Brock Lesnar after the former hit him with an F-5 at SummerSlam. The 17-time world champion hasn’t wrestled Lesnar since 2015.

They will likely break that decade-long streak very soon. As of now, no one knows whether The Beast will appear on this week’s SmackDown to explain his ambush on Cena. Many fans still wonder why WWE brought Lesnar back despite his involvement in the ongoing Janel Grant lawsuit.

Triple H noted during the SummerSlam post-show that John Cena wanted to work with The Conqueror as part of his retirement tour. During Raw last night, Michael Cole revealed on commentary that WWE President Nick Khan and Hunter contacted Lesnar a few weeks ago and decided it was time for him to return.
