Streaming star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has responded bluntly to fans speculating about a rift between him and fellow creator Kai Cenat. The speculations caught fire after the streaming sensation made his comments about Cenat’s treatment of Adin Ross.
In a recent stream, xQc made it clear he isn’t bothered by Kai Cenat’s apparent silence and that he has no interest in drama-driven alliances in the streaming world.
The Canadian streaming star addressed the topic after a fan on X (formerly Twitter) pointed out that Kai doesn’t seem to interact with him publicly anymore, hinting that it may be due to xQc’s friendship with Adin Ross.
“I don’t give a f* though,” xQc replied candidly. “Like, I know he doesn’t f* with me, does that make sense?”
xQc continued, explaining that he wouldn’t necessarily be upset if someone didn’t like him, but he would prefer honesty over passive behavior.
“If somebody didn’t tell me why they don’t f* with me, and they were kind of playing this game online and trying to play both sides, then I’d be annoyed by it,” he said. “I’d be annoyed, but I know he doesn’t f* with me, so it’s not that big of a deal.”
The tension between the streamers stems from xQc calling out Kai Cenat earlier this year over his treatment of Adin Ross, a fellow streamer and Kick co-owner, suggesting it was “awful.” While Cenat never directly responded, fans noticed the lack of interaction between the two since.
Despite the drama, xQc insists he’s not losing sleep over the situation — or any potential fallout from missed collaborations.
“People act like it’s something that limits me or whatever. Bro, I’ve never cared for collab,” he continued. “I don’t mind it, but I don’t need it! I don’t play my cards in a way that I need this, I don’t give a f* about it.”
xQc also stood by his comments about Adin, showing support for his longtime friend and collaborator.
“That’s just awful, man. Adin, don’t know how you deal with that s*, I’m not gonna lie. I wouldn’t be able to deal with that,” he added.
With that being said, there is no denying that streaming sensations as famous as xQc’s and Kai Cenat’s public rifts are often hard to avoid. But for now, he is staying focused on doing his own thing.
