Football Rumor: Manchester United Star Goalie Seriously Considering Saudi Pro League Summer Move

Manchester United can lose one of their key players, as recent reports suggest that one of the club’s major players is seriously considering a move to the Saudi Pro League.

After Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Saudi Arabia, a trend has been created, as many major football players like Benzema, Neymar, Kante, and many other players have joined the Middle Eastern country’s football league.

And the Premier League’s thirteen-time winners could face the same situation, according to recent reports.

According to many new sources, Andre Onana from Manchester United has been offered a lucrative deal by a team in the Saudi Pro League. Saudi Arabia’s club wants to continue strengthening its squad by adding European experience.

As the Saudi League focuses on improving its league and making it more competitive, such deals have become very difficult for players to refuse. However name of the player who received the offer has still not been revealed yet.

The deal’s highlight is the huge financial package given to the player. Every contract by Saudi Arabia is backed by immense money, which makes it difficult for the player to say no.

The contracts majorly include high salaries, a good stake in the club, commercial rights, bonuses, tax-free earnings, etc., and because of this, such a deal becomes very superior to European standards.

Given the club’s current financial position after the departure of former manager Erik Ten Hag, the club is not in a position to give the amount of salary that Saudi is offering to its player. And due to this reason, the probability of the deal becoming successful in the future increases.

Manchester United’s Potential Dilemma

The departure of the player from Old Trafford would become a possible setback for the club,  which has been trying to rebuild its position in the Premier League from last season’s position and performance.

The club’s management will now have to weigh the benefits of cashing in on the player against the risk of weakening the team.

It also raises broader questions about how European clubs will adapt as Saudi Arabia’s growing influence in world football continues to lure top talent away.
